Garlic Butter Chicken With Love

Garlic Butter Chicken With Love

Homestyle Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken

An easy and comforting dish I love making for my husband after a long day—it never fails to put a smile on his face!

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless, skinless)

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 garlic cloves (minced)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

For Serving:

Steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered pasta

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. My husband loves the flavor paprika adds—it’s subtle but warms the dish beautifully.

2. Cook the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set it aside on a plate.

3. Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. I always love this part—the smell of garlic and butter makes the whole kitchen cozy and inviting.

4. Add Creamy Goodness:

Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes). Taste and adjust with more salt and pepper, if needed.

5. Combine and Finish:

Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over it. Let it simmer on low heat for another 2-3 minutes to absorb all the flavors. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for that final touch.

6. Serve with Love:

Serve the chicken hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. I personally like pairing it with buttered garlic bread on the side—my husband always goes for seconds when I do that!

Why I Love This Recipe:

It’s one of those dishes that’s fancy enough for a special dinner but simple enough to make on a busy weekday. My husband says it tastes like something you’d get at a nice restaurant, but what warms my heart is how much he enjoys it knowing it’s homemade with love.

I hope this recipe finds a special place in your home, just like it has in mine.
